I believe there are some people who cannot hear the difference between
mid-fi and hi-end. Also, there is overpriced crap in both arenas. You
pay for marketing with Bose, and convenience.Sometimes I wish I could be satisfied with a rack system from Circuit City. Maybe these are the lucky ones? Maybe they are missing out on the beauty of well reproduced recorded music? None of us have the same ears. I think a 57" HDTV is a waste, others think $400 for a pair of tubes is. As the world turns. The HDTV crowd may think 2K for a CD player is a joke. The beat goes on and a lot of people are happy with Bose.
