It's starting to make sense.Your experience with Pass Labs replacing capacitors in your X250.5 supports what inmate G Squared posted in an article about insulating material clearance distance. With regard to capacitors it says,
" Altitude affects the air density and, consequently, the insulation's dielectric strength. At higher altitudes, the air is less dense, and the clearance distance must be increased to maintain the same level of insulation."
