RE: Audio Electronics affected by Altitude ?

Probably dielectric breakdown requirements. For example, when you go up in altitude, for a given arc gap, the voltage requirement to establish an arc goes down and I don't think it is linear if I remember right. It is probably related to their ability to display the CE mark. Just a guess.
