Your familiar with a bell curve? So you accept that some things make a difference? Perhaps your solid core silver wire falls somewhere in the middle of the bell curve and things like outlets, fuses, wire direction, break-in etc etc etc fall on the far ends of the curve? Diminishing returns?
I hear subtle differences in my system when things are changed, some better, some worse, some changes so miniscule that it becomes almost meaningless. I don't have special outlets, I just made sure what I have are outlets in good condition, have screw down attachments and are dedicated (15A for source, 20A for monoblocks). I also use a balanced power conditioner and that does make a big difference. But I can accept that there is a possibility that higher end outets might help? They are just WAY down on my list of things to get done. But it always interests me (the position itself and not some much the arguement) when someones just declares to the world that EVERYONE else is wrong about something and that they are right. Interesting mindset.
