I had a crappy job in the 80's that paid in the mid 20's that included such a clause. Gimme a break! If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen! This was a mutibillion dollar corporation operating in all 50 states! They just don't want competetion and use unfair practices to insure that. What real impact would somebody making 25K really have on such a large company? Just another example of the little guys freedom shriveling away-get used to it........or fix it!ET
