well, if noone else is going to reply....I don't know anything about audio dealers in the Sacramento area, but there are many in the East Bay. Closer to you, in Concord, is JC Audio (he advertises on Audiogon, but his homepage is: http://www.jcaudio.com/). In the East Bay, there is Music Lover's Audio (http://www.musicloversaudio.com/1.html), along with SF stereo (http://www.sfstereo.com/) -- two very different stores with very different approaches to audio. Similarly, there's the smaller store called Audio Chamber on College, in Oakland (no homepage, I think). Lastly, if you're making the trek, you should visit Immedia (http://www.immediasound.com/) and there's Sumiko on 5th street.
If you want manufactures, I highly recommend contacting Alan Yun, the maker of Silverline (http://www.silverlineaudio.com/). Also, Legend Audio and Audible Illusions (http://www.audibleillusions.com/) are in the area.
I know that there are many more, but this is the best that I can do at 4am.
