To play most Massive Attack tracks on my Quad setups the Bass step has to be set to 100 or 170 and the Tilt control to +1dB treble -1dB bass. I could use one of my third octave equalisers but viewing the raw signal on a spectrum analyser show that primitive is much more efficient :o}.
