OK, I'm just about done with this BS. I'm not a high-roller--despite what my system profile indicates. As I've stated more than a few times on this thread, it was given to me as gift for helping a friend with a very difficult project. I then gave it to my cousin, who was undergoing cancer therapy. So, your super-expensive component basically changed hands twice in less than a month. As for the serial number, yeah, I suppose I could provide it to you. But, as I told Brian above, my cousin is back in the hospital, and the LAST thing I want to do is bother him and his family with this ridiculously trivial crap, just so you can stroke your own ego by proving me a liar. Besides, I'm not sure he even still has the amp. I've talked to several friends of mine who have heard your unit and have been underwhelmed by it, especially given all the drooling praise it's received. So, it wouldn't shock me if it's traded hands yet again. Your assumption that the unit is so great that it NEVER trades hands is a flawed one. Most EVERYTHING in high end trades hands at least once during its lifteime--even your precious audio juggernaut. Right now, I'm so annoyed that, just out of principle, I'm never going to reveal the serial number to you. If that makes me a liar in your and your folowers' minds, so be it. I'm not losing any more sleep over it. I know the truth, and that's all that counts. Your impression of me doesn't amount to a drop of sweat on a dog's balls.
