I'd have to say my thoughts mirror much of what kSpace said. (This was the best I've heard the Wilson products sound to-date.) The only other room of special note I heard is the Diaural room. The sound was up with the big boys just on the basis of the phenomenal DSD tape recordings they were using. I've never heard anything quite like it.Some other observations:
1. The bargain speaker getting attention was the new Gallo Nucleus Reference. Sounded great for the money and embarrassed much more expensive rooms. I think it still could use a little work integrating the bass driver and making it more coherent, but I could say that about a ton of speakers at the show. (Coherency is apparently is not a primary concern for speaker makers nowadays.)
2. Unlike CES, I noticed a lack of Audio Aero Capitole CDPs and Shunyata Hydra power conditioners. For this show, the Meitner DAC seemed to be the favorite among the big boys and a wide variety elsewhere. As for power conditioners, it was wide open. I remember Richard Gray, BPT and Quantum in more than one room. Running Springs Audio is new to me and seemed to have an interesting new power conditioner too. (BTW, I just purchased the new BPT 3.5 and can say that it is the real deal.)
3. The tall ceilings in this hotel caused much different issues than last year's show in New York and CES. Some speakers liked it and were setup well, others sounded like music being played in a cave.
I could go on and on (since I actually took notes this time), but these are just a few things of note off the top of my head.
