I've tried many combinations over the years, including biamping
of several systems including Magnepan T-1C, Snell Type A/II
and others. I've also run many speakers full-range. I'm
currently using Magnepan 1.6QR with a REL Strata III subwoofer.Biamping looks cool, and impresses your friends. Want the most
musicality? Buy a TacT RCS 2.0 room correction device, and run
your speakers full range with a quality preamp/amp. The less
complexity with external crossovers, cables, etc the better.
You won't believe the difference when you insert the RCS into
your system. It's by far the most "bang for the buck" you'll
get....this comes after 30 years of audio tweaking.
