Paper content has changed so much since the late 80's, early 90's. I think it was just a combination of those particular manufactured cd's being more vulnerable. I haven't heard of any issues since then. Like many inmates here, I've never run into any problems. (Hopefully I didn't just jinx myself!)
I did come across some chatter about an arts/crafts marker substitute for the Prism Pen. It might have been in the digital or tweak forum. Within the past 6 months? Again, I didn't pursue it because of my slot loading components.
It's great that you are bringing up these queries on the forum. So many inmates can weigh in their thoughts based on actual experiences.
