I envy you your simple crossover regime and the ability to flip polarity ... especially sitting in your seat with a glass of red in the other hand!!
However, maaate, I know men of our age have lost a lot of "top end" (and we can't hear above 13Khz either! ;-)) ) but 35hz-13khz @-3db is surely a bittofa problem?? My Maggies are specced at 40Kz ... sure I can't hear anywhere near as high as that but I know putting 15Khz filters in changes the sound!
