at least it will verify if the polarity of the audio system through the speakers is correct, CDp> preamp> Amp> speakers, would it not? I fully understand it still depends on the the CD, the source material. But does it not make sense. Most of the CDs I have the polarity sounds correct. Only a few have what I would consider reversed polarity. At least what I perceive in sound that I hear. My Sonic Frontiers Line One has a reverse polarity switch that can be switched by the remote control, makes it easy to check the sound.Jim
