Classic: If you have not yet thought of it you can send a mono signal to your pair of Advents and stack them (tweeter to tweeter). This will give you some idea of what the sound would be like if you choose this route. If you can do this with a high power amp, then all the better. The least amount of power that I ever used and enjoyed with my Advents (as a pair) in a medium sized room was 70 tube watts per channel (two Dynaco Stereo 70's in monoblock configuration. Come to think of it have you tried your pair with more power in your listening room? That may make you smile and you would only need to add a power amp to the 300.
