The phono section of your receiver was designed by Holman and is a very nice sounding unit even by todays standards. I would keep the receiver for the preamp/tuner section, add another pair of Advents (stack them tweeter to tweeter) and power them with a Phase Linear 400 (just this model of PL) power amp. These units were all released within a year or two of each other. I owned this exact system in 1975 and found it to be extremely musical (again even by today's standards) and to have great synergy. The power meters may not work on many of the old Phase Linears, but dont sweat it as they do not affect the sound.
