He has a main system, then an "office" one up the steps in a bonus area between all the bedrooms, a TV with a AV receiver in the den, an analog system in the work office. No headphone system (yet).
I am bad, with a lot of vintage SS junk scattered around and my late uncle's system (McIntosh C20, 2 x MC 30's and Empire 398 with old Empire cart, will change & need belt) in a closet. Closet to make space and will have a dealer go through them (soon).
Now I am envisioning my work system, probably one of the vintage setups I list into either AR 4x (needs pots and rubber sealant), Advent/2 white composite cabinet (needs woofer surrounds), or my new TAD Aural Ecstasy 805 SD's (supposed to need 300 hrs or more to break in).
I am enjoying my cheap ol' vintage stuff, with the Dyna PAS 2, my youngest brother's old Thorens TD 165/Shure M91ED and GAS Son of Ampzilla which was GASworks modded, level 1. Very smooth and sweet. Picture has the ERA Mk 6/Mayware/V15-III spherical, PS IVH and Hafler XL 280 (see under my profile vintage system. All that is good gear which is very listenable.
Some day, I'll go high end Mc. You might have to wait a long time, however.
