On good recordings my system shines and on "bad" recording they are still quite palatable. When you say "I was going to find/build myself a pair of lower resoultion speakers more eq'ed for it...", I understand that as some sort of weakness in the playback system. Personally, I'd wouldn't want to be relegated to just "great" recordings to fully enjoy my system. IMO, detailed with ease is the way to go.Peter Moncrieff wrote:
