Re: I'm curious, what was your first *true* stereo system?

I was around 12 years old when around 1974 my dad set up the following system for me and my older brother (so that we wouldn't mess with his :-):

- Dads old ARXA table with a new stanton 500EE cart.
- A used Dyanco SCA-35 integrated amp (tubes!)
- A used pair of Bogen LSX (small) bookshelf speakers
- Dads old Sherwood (more tubes!) FM stereo tuner with its
way cool green tuning bar (God, I'd love to get my hands
on one of these tuners again)

First LP I ever bought: Eagles - One of these Nights (still have it).
