There are lots of pretty amazing bargains out there, some choice components I would rank up there:Magneplanar MG-1.6/QR $1675 (fantastic speakers if your room allows)
Sony DVP-S7700 ~$500 (discontinued, buy new for dvd, cd transport)
B&W DM-302 $200 (very nice little smooth sounding bookshelf)
Kimber PBJ $60 (really great cable provided you don't need shielding)
Sennheiser HD-570 $125 (great sound, comfortable, good construction)
Music Hall MMF-2.1 $270 (complete no-hassle beginner vinyl setup)Better still, get into DIY projects and/or used equipment. Its a lot harder to try to pick out the best buys in these areas, but you can get much more bang for the buck with either of these routes and the hassle isn't nearly as much as you might think.
Cheers, RJS
