A sound, or sound system (whether reproduction or reinforcement), might be "appealing" or "pleasing" or "appropriate" or whatever. I do understand what you're driving at in your previous post. But, none of those reactions or perspectives on the quality of the sound have anything to do with "accurate". I think you did a reasonably good job (given that this isn't a professional discussion setting) of describing various perspectives and how people might like a certain sound quality sometimes and others at other times.
But, as I think you allude to, this has nothing to do with accuracy. They are subjective feelings/reactions, often related to the setting or the preferences of the listener. This is a problem when trying to put too many things into one box. The word "accurate" has a well-known and well-defined meaning, and it doesn't matter what the subject matter is. "Appealing", "pleasing", appropriate", and other adjectives are food for another discussion. We can talk all day about what we or someone likes , but that's not a discussion about accuracy . That's a dicussion about what a person likes.
