Actually saw Pinback in concert at Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix. We thought it was a good show - I really like the band and the Summer In Abadon LP. Not even sure if it's my favorite Pinback record and thinking about it I probably have a Wilco, Modest Mouse, 3-Mile Pilot and a few other Americana/Alt-Country albums on that list. Probably just make the list bigger. I tried to do a 100 greatest records of all time and for me it's an impossible task.
The reality is my list of 400 favorite records of all time could be another guys list of schlock.
