everything that is audible is measurable but not everything that is measurable is audible.There is a mountain of research that establishes detailed thresholds of human hearing. I never said that these things have no *measurable* effect. Some do some don't. That would come down to doing actual measurements. And more precisely doing them at the right point of measurement. But I don't have much interest in things that measure differently with no audible effect. It seems like technical masturbation to put any kind of premium on such things.
I look at testimonials for power cords and see things like "night and day difference" and "most important component in an audio system." Which I think demonstrates the utter power of bias effects. I have yet to see any reports of blind tests done competently that demonstrated any audible differences. Quite the chasm between anecdotes and actual controlled listening tests.
