RE: YES, the ADC XLM phono cartridge

As I recall, the top-of-the-line Shure (V-15 Type III) was somewhere around $100 street price. The next one down was the M-93 ED - street price around $20, but a big step down sonically. (The bonded diamond stylus increased the effective tip mass and made for a "sizzly" top end that didn't track cymbals and things very well.

The ADC XLM had a street price of $50 and was better than the V-15 in almost every way.
