Not so much greed as just poor business decisions. For example, opening stores in areas which are already saturated is dumb. Not being able to decide if you're a big store or a small store, or a CD store or an equipment store, is also dumb. Best Buy almost got their ass burned a few years ago, too, for reasons like that. Fry's Electronics inexplicably still carries stereo gear, but their selection is pitiful. I predict that department will be gone after the Christmas season, if it hasn't already. The last thing I bought there was a camera tripod 2-1/2 months ago. Most of the stereo stuff wasn't even hooked up.
