Possibly true if your main driving condition is on the track! Otherwise it's the other way around.
I've driven my fair share of manual transmission cars and yes it's fun. I used to heel 'n toe double clutch on down-shifts and other "fun things" but this isn't what I would consider to be MY main driving condition .
Most people drive in traffic, stop n go, sometimes in bad weather. I'll take an automatic thank you very much.... and not lose any performance at all.
Sports Car = Manual Transmission.
Daily Diver Car = Automatic.
