As always, I value your input in these forums.
You are correct in that those 60's U.K. albums are still the Gold Standard.
The prices for original, mint copies, tell the whole story.
I am of the CD age and the 1987 editions are truest to the source-60's U.K. albums.
The 2009 remasters are truest to The Beatles interpretation, as a collective unit, especially, the Mono box set. Lastly, the 2017 edition is another modern interpretation by Giles Martin.
