RE: Listening to digital/vinyl and then mono

I have a classic mono cartridge. It is a GE RPX. I like it quite a bit. My main stereo cartridge is a Sonus Blue. If the Sonus is summed to mono the two cartridges sound very similar to me. Even though the design of the cartridges are different Mr. Prichard seems to have put his signature sound into both of them.

If you are summing the channels properly a stereo cartridge should be the equal of a mono cartridge.

I have an offer. Send me your mono St. Pepper and I'll try it with the Sonus and the RPX and compare them to my CD copy and give my thoughts.
