I have never been off $20 in the estimate either. Usually a buck or 2 off at the most. And in the long run I ship so many things that it evens out in the long run.This guy is an A-hole to hold you up for $20 on a $600 transaction IMHO.
Call the guy up, I always do on expensive transactions. Usually people will come through if you talk to them live and strike up a decent conversation.
