Did the $575 included the "splitting of the shipping"? Did you guys discuss it at all (ie estimate the costs)?If he assumed the cost of shipping would be $X and AGREED to it, then shipping turned out ot be $X+20, then I would think he should eat it.
Further, I have purchased and sold stuff and shipped it all over the place. I can tell you right now you could ship a Rega Planet anywhere in the United States for less then $20. Unless of course, you guy argeed to over night.
Bottom line: did you guys agree to get a shipping bill before you "split the cost" or did you just pick a dollar value and split that as an estimate of shipping. In the first case he may win, in the second case you may win....
