Not wishing to get involved in some long discussion, but to answer your question: No. I think the moderators do a thankless job well. Not everyone is going to agree with what they do; they have to make choices.Without the contribution of the moderators, there would be no Audio Asylum at all, and that would be a sad emptiness indeed.
Would you be willing to spend the time to be a moderator? If so, you have to realize that you, too, soon would face angry inmates who disagree with what you are doing--no matter what you are doing.
Everyone's emotions are a bit strained these days, for obvious reasons...everyone needs to relax a little bit..gee, perhaps some peaceful music would help!
