...and go the Outside Asylum where the conversation continues. I agree with you that it's important for us to have a means to express our emotions during this time. Having said this, I also believe that it's neceesary to have an outlet to escape from the barrage of news and discussion of this horrible tragedy. I'm sure that is what Rod had in mind when he asked us to return the other forums to audio discussion. He also moved several posts to the Outside forum and deleted them from here in an attempt to preserve the conversation while it was moved. Perhaps he missed moving yours. You made a comment (see below) very early on in these events which I thought was so profound tha I've repeated it to several people since I read it. I hope you'll continue to contribute to the discussion in the Outside forum.From Chris' post:
"In the Iraq conflict, the US could have easily reduced ALL of Iraq to rubble with the wholesale use of nuclear weapons, but that`s not what democratic, civilised countries do in the modern World; more civilians have been killed today than in the whole of the Iraq war - why don`t YOU consider this? When pictures of Iraqs dead and injured were broadcast, every American was saddened and this possibly caused the premature end of this conflict - when pictures of Americans were shown in the Middle-East, Palestinians celebrated, so who are the `Godless` people? "
