Re: The problem with Hi-Fi dealers (long)

John,

In my thinking, if a dealer is going to carry a particular line of gear they should be willing to allow the customer to try out various models within that line. It was not like I was suggesting to the dealer to pickup new lines that he did not carry. Also, it was kind of funny how the dealer tells me things that are not particularily true and is proven in the end to be so. It is confusing enough for the customer without the dealer compounding it worse. Dealers should be a source of good information not confusing information. I never asked more of the dealer then I was willing to give. Besides if I am going to hand over my hard earned money, I better damn well be sure that I like what I am buying. I don't buy sight unheard and never will. Too many things added up to be a minus with the dealer.
