I live in Forest Hills (Queens); even though Manhattan is closer distance wise, I do business with a number of dealers "out on the Island". The arrogance and snobbery of the Manhattan dealers is something I will not put up with (IT IS MY MONEY).American Audiophile (Lynbrook) and Audio Breakthroughs (Manhasset) can be useful. IME, Audio Visions (West Babylon) is a good place to frequent; Steve and Bob take pretty good care of their customers.
