Fewer and fewer people can be bothered with the Audiophool credo: "however tiny the effect, it must cause a night and day difference!" and more and more people are realizing that they can have eminently satisfying systems for a very reasonable price, and then have a stack of money left to invest in software.
Maybe once Audiophools stop getting the vapors over whether their software is "Hi Rez" or not we'll actually see some main stream support for normal software that actually sounds good.
