RE: Anybody shut off all low level equipment regularly?

If I'm not going to be listening for more than a couple of hours, I'll usually power everything down. When I have a new component, I may experiment with leaving it on for a number of days so I hear how the sound changes (or doesn't). And by and large I'm pretty satisfied with approx 45 minutes of warm-up time with music playing softly.

The other time I leave things running for some time is when I align the circuit. Initial calibration may take place after an hour or so, and I come back periodically to see if things have drifted. Ideally it should stabilize pretty quickly.
