i modded my own rabco st4

back in the day and it really came out well. i cut the counterweight in HALF (exactly by weight), changed out the counterweight shaft (a bug screw) for aluminum, and removed the plastic headshell.

this enabled my adcXLM to go down in required vtf from 1.5 to 1.0 grams. you had to turn the counterweight twice as many times on the shaft to get the same change as before.

its too bad these tables werent better engineered in the drive system. the bass was prodigious but the wow and flutter was too noticeable.
