Thanks for the excellent review.

Fascinating. In my system the TDS added an undeniable vividness to the sound. Instruments sounded more detailed and solid. Cymbals especially
just popped out of the air around the speakers with realistic attack.
However, the sound was also less relaxed, more forward and fatiguing. I noticed that I could not listen for too long. A couple of amplifier designers who demoed my TDS in their system immediately commented that the sound was obviously being compressed - likely by some sort of passive transformer or something (sorry, can't remember precisely what they said).

Just thought I'd add my experience.
