one would have to assume you are THE expert in all things digital?! Forget the theoretical reasons that DVD-A and SACD are better than Red Book CD or all the reviews all over the world or many well known recording engineers and producers we just heard from Rodney who obviously knows best!While I have no quibble with your statement about a "synergistic" digital front end affording musical enjoyment that hardly makes these new formats any less outstanding.
I happen to enjoy all three formats with over 3000 Lps, 1200 plus CDs and over 140 SACDs.
Some people really feel the need to trash new technology. As for me I find SACd much better than Red Book CD and vinyl better than both, and not by a slim margin.
