Mr. Robot at the halfway mark...favorite show this summer

It was a post here that intrigued me enough to try out the USA network. I don't recall ever watching anything on that before. So my expectations were low.

But wow, this has delivered big time for me. I discuss this show with friends and there is plenty of ambiguity to try to figure. Five episodes in, there are still basic mysteries, such as who may be real and who may be in Elliot's imagination (or is he actually somebody else's daemon?)

Whether or not this can all be resolved successfully who knows. But it's been a great ride and halfway through, it is still my most anticipated weekly show, and the only one I rewatch the next day.

Beyond the plot mysteries, there is a pretty perfect cast. Could anyone play the hooded outsider with the expressive face better than the guy playing Elliot? Could anyone play the sleazy ambitious Swedish executive better than the guy playing Tyrell?

And for a hacker show, there is some real thought behind the script. A pun about a raspberry pi is but one example.

So this is for sure my show for this summer.
