I just thought it'd make a great monster mash-up, especially with the Japanese twist.

I mean, like Kurosawa directed Scorsese as Van Gogh in Dreams. That worked brilliantly and was quite imaginative. Is it so hard to imagine a debauched dinosaur sculptor seen as a threat to the world?

Okay, that isn't quite the same film, but a little alcohol and this will start to make sense, with or without the goat. ;0)
