You can easily make a set of RCA shorting plugs. Use a cheap set of interconnects like you would get with a new DVD player. Cut the wires about 2" from the plug, then strip and solder the center connector to the shielding. Put some electrical tape or shrink tubing over the soldered connection and you’re done.
