I have been following this thread with interest because I am also rewiring a ST-70 with Joe's quad cap replacement module and restoration driver board.What driver board are you using? It doesn't look like the standard circuit, at least not mine. I think the diagram you refer to in the restoration manual is only for the standard driver board.
