I'm getting ready assemble the PC-S7U-B Cap board for my ST-70. In going through the instructions, I have a couple of questions:1. Step 1 of the instructions say "there are a total of 8 1/2W resistors (12 if you are installing the solid state rectification option)" Am I right in thinking that if I do NOT want the solid state rectification option I should omit the four 470K 1/2W resistors along with the four diodes that are mounted right next to them?
2. In Figure 2, two connections are marked with ***. They are connections to pin 4 and pin 6 of the GZ-34. The footnote says "*** NOTE- Connect ONLY if using solid state rectification, otherwise terminate with electrical tape or shrink tubing."
Huh? Should this read "Connect ONLY if NOT using solid state rectification"? Since I do not want to use the solid state rectification wouldn't these connections to the GZ-34 be needed? I guess I'm confused.
Thanks in advance for your help.
