This is totally irrelevant.

Why would we take them away? They WERE released. They DO exist. If you insist on taking away the ABKO releases, then I would insist on taking away the Warner releases. Where would that leave rock/pop DVD-Audio? Answer: essentially non-existent.

I do not agree. If we wish to zero in on specific genres, it can easily be demonstrated that (pick your format) is weak on (pick your favorite genre). However, SACD releases continue to trickle out. DVD-Audio releases in nearly every genre have all but come to a halt.
For a primarily stereo SACD listener (like me), there are endless choices if one is open-minded. There are more releases coming out weekly than I can afford to buy, and just when the nay-sayers are declaring SACD dead for the thousandth time, out pops another big release (and a slew of lesser ones). It's pretty good for the MC listeners as well.
For a primarily stereo DVD-Audio listener (again, like me), the format is pretty much dead. I have bought nearly everything of interest to me that currently exists, and it simply doesn't look like much more is coming. That's sad. It doesn't seem like surround fans have it much better, unless Dolby Digital surround is good enough.
In the "old days," the format bigots on each side cheered each time a single release in their treasured format came out, and jeered at their hated opponents when they did the same. The SACD release stream never became a flood, but it's now a pretty steady trickle. The DVD-A release stream is now just an occasional drip that is threatening to dry up. Again, I find that sad because I have no new software to feed to my DVD-A players.
Given that reality, KEKL's endless cheerleading looks more and more stupid every time he posts. Michi is right - he's an anachronism. He's so pathetic it's funny. I'm actually hoping he's dumb enough to try to respond to my post, because if he does, it will be quite entertaining ;-)
