Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

I've had the same problem

I own a Turtle Beach Montego II. The line-in is too sensitive so the A/D clips on loud passages. The Windows record level control can't cure this problem because its digital. The only solution is to turn up the Windows record level (to get full-scale samples) and use an analog attenuator before the sound card. A cassette deck can be used for this purpose.
