Yes, the effect of the ZOH. I think it is actually -3dB in practice - Thorsten has measured it using a 1/3 octave analyzer (in theory -~3.9dB, I believe). In any case, the rolloff is definitely there, and some of the young exuberant listeners seem to really notice it. The older mid-40's crowd doesn't seem to mind it so much :).-chris
