John,Thanks for your response. You have helped to persuade me in taking the effort to listen to some new units.
As to used price on this item at least; It is on extended loan from a friend. Although we have not discussed price (he just loaned it to "play" but purchase is always an option), we have dealt with each other very generously/fairly in the past. I have seen listings for this DAC in a range of $200-450 in my recent research. I suspect that we could reach an agreement in the lower portion of this range.
