The DVP9000ES is going to be discontinued and replaced with the NS900 according to several sources I have heard. They are essentially the same players but with different cosmetics and a few minor non-sonic changes..video changes etc. I am very interested in the redbook performance of this player myself. This has the makings of a good CD/DVD/SACD player if I can have listenable 16/44. I just may buy one if I can find one for the right price and at least give it a try. I hear they have a painful 3-4 months before break-in occurs. Jallen
