I think I understand your set up now. What I currently use is the SB Touch wirelessly to my preamp. That may be one of the reasons I've experienced so many drops. The bandwidth, if that's the proper term, is too limited.

I am considering adding a dedicated computer to my system (to use the screen for Bluray menu access) and as a storage medium for downloads. While I have no desire to rip my CD's, I'm finding that many older recordings are now only available (for reasonable costs that is) via download, they are no longer printing the physical discs, and the used market for some is astronomical.

I would need to be able to control that computer remotely. I've no idea how that might work, but I'm pretty sure there's a controller app of some sort available. I'll have to have all the hardware together to figure it out.

Always wanted to hear the DCS line, never got the chance. Kind of kicking myself for all the money I spent on a "reference"( at the time) TT setup. Once the babies came there was no time for all that. I'd have been much better off spending it on a good digital system, but I was lured by the sound of my dealers analog set ups, he was THE analog guru and only begrudgingly accepted digital products. Live and learn.
