Yes, I'm aware of that re SACD's, hence why I want the dedicated machine, either the Marantz's or the Sony BR player. The dacs in the Marantz boxes are, from reports, pretty decent on their own, and they have digital in's for external devices. The Sony yeah, it would only output PCM to an external DAC, and I don't know the quality of the internal one on that. I do need a BR player anyway though, since I'm discovering things that were only released that way (again, the Chailly Mahler LGO set).

That interface looks very nice. What is it? I do know that the Qobuz interface on my iPad was much better, so I know it's the LMS/SB Touch for Qobuz that's the problem, but that's what I have at the moment that I can use with my system.
